Theo Oeverhaus won the opening race of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup season in Monaco, converting pole position into a dominant lights-to-flag victory across 17 laps.
Particularly impressive was Andrea Bristot, who announced himself as a serious contender in his very first Supercup season. The Italian, racing for Dinamic Motorsport, had never previously competed in Monaco, yet qualified on the front row with the second-fastest time. In the race, he coolly repelled a fierce early challenge from Gustav Burton, holding his nerve as the two ran side by side up the hill toward Casino Square. Bristot ultimately secured second place overall — and with it, the Rookie classification victory.
Gustav Burton also delivered a strong performance for GP Elite. The Briton pushed Bristot hard in the opening laps but was forced to concede after being pushed off the racing line. He nonetheless held firm in third, successfully defending the position against a charging Robert de Haan.
Joining Bristot on the Rookie podium were Brazilian driver Matheus Ferreira (GP Elite) and Luxembourg’s Chester Kieffer (Schumacher CLRT).
